Research support needed to inform the future of EmploySE1

Team London Bridge is looking for specialist research support that will inform the future of EmploySE1, a free recruitment service delivered in partnership with Better Bankside and We Are Waterloo.

The research will focus on local-based models for recruitment support to businesses, including those that are delivered by partnerships.  It will identify how the three BIDs can provide a valued service to help member businesses to fill their vacancies, particularly in the context of the ongoing pressures and changes in the recruitment market.  The research report will also include recommendations for delivery models and opportunities for new partnerships or collaboration that will support the future of EmploySE1.

EmploySE1 was established in 2011, as a free-to-use recruitment service for local businesses, funded and delivered by the partnership of local BIDs.  Since 2011, over 400 businesses used the EmploySE1 service, advertising around 3,000 vacancies through its channels.  As well as supporting businesses based in Bankside, London Bridge and Waterloo, EmploySE1 aimed to connect residents of Southwark and Lambeth with the roles advertised, and successfully placed more than 500 people into jobs through its services.

The full brief, including further background information about EmploySE1, can be found here.

All proposals must be sent by 5pm on Thursday 7 September to Rachel Nicholson, Responsible Business and Inclusion Manager at Better Bankside: rn@betterbankside.co.uk
