Musicity X Low Line: A musical tour of the Low Line

Musicity X Low Line is self-guided online musical experience inspired by the mighty Victorian railway viaduct that runs through Bankside, London Bridge and Bermondsey. Musicity worked with local musicians and sound artists to respond to 15 locations along the Low Line, providing the perfect excuse to take a lunch time break and listen to a whole host of original music.  

There are fifteen tracks with music pieces were inspired by locations such as Bermondsey Street tunnel, Vinegar Yard, London Bridge Station, Druid Street Wildflower Meadow, The Shard, Holyrood Street, and the Underdog Gallery.https://www.musicityglobal.com/cities/musicity-x-low-line/

The Low Line will be a new walking destination for London, spanning Bankside, London Bridge and Bermondsey. It connects diverse neighbourhoods and communities along the length of the mighty Victorian viaducts in south London, creating new hubs of creativity, entertainment, and industry along its course.  It celebrates the heritage of the railway arches, shaping places of interest along the way and unlocking their potential. 

While the tracks are usually geotagged to be enjoyed in-situ, Musicity and its artists have unlocked the tracks for all to enjoy during a period when it’s safest for us to stay at home.
