We are now working with two waste service providers; Recorra and First Mile. Both with excellent credentials, professional data tracking, and good quality of service. Thanks to our agreement with them they now offer BID-area-wide favourable pricing, so take advantage and look into switching if you’re not already with them.

What they can help you with:

• E-bike waste collections – Both Recorra and First Mile are working to establish a waste consolidation site around our area, to allow them to do e-cargo bike waste collections, reducing the carbon impact of your waste.
• Procurement advice – where to purchase sustainable and recycled office supplies, plates, coffee cups, and sustainable cleaning products.
• Waste Improvement Visits – they can visit your premises, check for contamination, and advise on ways to improve your waste management.
• Recorra offer Free Quarterly IT and UEEE (Used Electrical and Electronic Equipment) collection.
• Clearances – Both Recorra and First mile offer a bulky waste and furniture collection service where they will try to maximise re-use of items.
• Monthly Webinars – Free monthly webinars hosted by their Sustainability Teams.
