There are a number of well-organised local initiatives that welcome corporate volunteers, and we can help connect you with the right opportunity. By participating, your team can develop new skills, build stronger internal relationships, and make a valuable contribution to the community.

Upcoming Volunteering Opportunities:

  • Throughout Summer – Hosepipe Heroes: Help maintain the community gardens in London Bridge by assisting with watering and general upkeep every Tuesday from June to September.
  • 11 June and 2 July – Count Our Pollinators: Join us for a daytime nature event across our parks and gardens. This is a call for anyone passionate about protecting the species that keep our plants alive and our food growing. Participants will follow our Green Spaces Trail and complete a 10-minute Flying Insect Timed (FIT) count at each site, recording findings via the FIT App.
  • 20 July – The Big Butterfly Count: Spend 15 minutes at lunchtime counting butterflies in one of our gardens. A simple and rewarding way to contribute to national conservation data.
  • 20 September – Bermondsey Street Festival: Play a part in one of the area’s most beloved annual events by volunteering behind the scenes.

If none of these fit your schedule or interests, browse our Local Charities listing, which features over 20 organisations doing vital work across a range of causes. Whether you are looking to volunteer as an individual or as part of a corporate team, there are plenty of ways to get involved and make a meaningful difference this summer.
