Team London Bridge is celebrating this Clean Air Day by announcing the date of our seventh annual London Cargo Bike Cruise.
The procession of the latest Cargo Bikes through the streets of central London will take place 30th September, showing the world how far clean delivery methods have come in just a few short years. Once seen as a novelty, cargo bikes have become a mainstream, eco-friendly, and efficient way to transport everything from laundry to legal documents.
Team London Bridge has been driving change through our Bikes for Business project and we’ve seen this shift up close: since 2019 more than 200 local businesses have embraced pedal-powered deliveries, and our Cargo Bike Service Directory has over 60 great options (electricians, couriers, fruit, butchers, window cleaners.. you name it).
However, while we are celebrating this gear shift in momentum, by the end of 2025 there were more than 100,000 diesel vans registered by companies in London – the highest ever since records began. We still have a long way to go because for every electric van registered by a company in London, there are 18 diesel vans polluting the streets.
So show your support and cheer on the riders and operators at this years Cargo Bike Cruise as they lead the way in creating a healthier, cleaner, more sustainable London.
The exact route is TBC, watch this space. We’ll start at 3pm and end in Holyrood St, London Bridge at about 4.30pm for networking and a chance to see the latest cargo bike models up close.
Wednesday 30th September, 15:00-17:30
