Being a sustainable business district isn’t just about intention. It’s about having the knowledge and skills to decarbonise and adapt, together. That’s why Team London Bridge is running a series of events this autumn to help members build exactly that, whatever stage you’re at.

Circular economy workshop

The circular economy is opening up new opportunities and new skills for businesses ready to explore them. Come along on 10 September to identify what those opportunities could look like for you and for the wider area. BOOK HERE

Carbon Literacy training

If you’re looking for a practical place to start, our Carbon Literacy training course is it. Over 500 people in the London Bridge area have already been carbon literate accredited, and we’re now working with our BID partners in Southbank, Waterloo and Bankside to become the UK’s second Carbon Literate locality, aiming to get 15% of people trained in the coming years. Join us on 23 September and be part of that progress. BOOK HERE

The People’s Emergency Briefing

There’s a growing clamour across the UK to bring the People’s Emergency Briefing into businesses, and we’re proud to be doing just that. In collaboration with TBC.London and SE1 Solar, we’re hosting a screening followed by a discussion with Dame Allison Nimmo and Cabinet Member for Climate, Eloise Walden-Day. Join us on 1 October. Prefer something a little more hands on?

If you’d rather build your green skills outdoors, we’d love your help watering our plants (responsibly) or monitoring and recording local biodiversity. Register your interest here.

Green Network

All of this sits within our growing Green Network. Keep an eye on the calendar for upcoming events, and make sure you’re signed up to receive e-updates so you never miss what’s next.
