The Bankside Games is back, and this year’s event promises to be bigger than ever.

Taking place at Marlborough Sports Garden in the heart of SE1, the Bankside Games brings together local businesses for an afternoon of sport, team-building, and networking, all in support of a cause that makes a real difference to the local community. Organised by Bankside Open Spaces Trust, this is one of the area’s most anticipated business events of the summer.

3 Sports. 18 Teams. One Great Cause.

Compete against fellow local businesses across five-a-side football, netball, and beach volleyball. Teams can enter one, two, or all three sports, with squads of up to 12 players, making it easy to get the whole team involved.

Entry & Inclusions

Team entry is priced at £900, which includes:

  • Minimum of five 15-minute games per player
  • Qualified referees
  • Drinks and refreshments throughout the afternoon
  • Medals for all participants
  • Trophies for winning teams
  • Professional photography shared after the event

Multi-team discounts are available: 5% off for two teams, 10% off for three, and for four or more teams, contact the organising team directly to discuss pricing.

Supporting Community Initiatives:

Beyond the competition, the Bankside Games has real purpose. Every entry directly funds BOST’s free after-school sports programme for local primary school children, delivering activities from beach tennis and roller skating to cricket and street dance. In an area with limited outdoor space and high childhood obesity rates, these sessions play a vital role in helping young people stay active, build confidence, and develop healthy habits for life.

About Bankside Open Spaces Trust:

Founded in 2000, BOST is an environmental and volunteering charity dedicated to preserving and enhancing parks and gardens in London’s SE1 area. The organisation manages several local green spaces, including the historic Red Cross Garden and Marlborough Sports Garden, and offers various community programmes and events.

Participation and Sponsorship:

Companies interested in participating or supporting the event can contact Jack at jack@bost.org.uk for more information or to register their teams. This event provides an excellent opportunity for corporate teams to engage in friendly competition while contributing to the well-being of the local community.
