But what does that history mean for our daily lives today?
To find out, Team London Bridge partnered with the Centre for London to deep-dive into how we can maximize health and wellbeing for everyone who lives, works, or visits here.
Shaping the Next Five Years
Launching this October 2026, our new London Bridge Healthier Streets campaign marks the start of a five-year mission. We are embedding health into all of our community services and introducing fresh, wellness-focused design elements directly into our local streets.
We are kicking things off in Newcomen Street and Snowsfields, just south and east of the Guy’s Hospital and King’s College London medical campus.
These streets form a vital artery connecting the historic campus with the upcoming Snowsfields Quarter life sciences hub. Building on 20 years of Team London Bridge projects, we will transform these roads and their surrounds into a model “Healthy Street” concept that we can scale across the entire district.
Get Involved this October!
You don’t have to wait to experience the changes. Our London Bridge Medi-Culture programme launches next month, featuring:
