10th July, 12:30-13:30, London Bridge Hive, 8 Holyrood Street, SE1 2EL
Over the last 3 years, through Team London Bridge’s grants, the London Bridge business community have been funding some of their activities with the aim to improve local residents’ lives.
Our Building Bridges Fund was designed to support local charities with a long-term partnership which is made up of both a grant and an ongoing relationship with the local business community. Over the years, Team London Bridge’s grant making programmes have proved to be a successful way for the London Bridge business community to have a positive impact on local charities and give back through the BID levy mechanism.
During 2022-2025 Team London Bridge have been funding these two fantastic charities whose work has a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of residents. Whilst DSC aims to give young people with disabilities more opportunities to stay active and get together, BOST’s Marlborough Sports Garden offers free sports activities throughout the year for residents of all ages. You can read more about their aims and work here.
At this event, you’ll get a chance to:
- Meet representatives from both charities, including volunteers who help run the programmes
- Hear more about the difference their work has made over the past three years—and what’s next
- Learn how you and your business can continue to support them (there are lots of ways to get involved!)
Spaces are limited – book early to avoid disappointment!
A delicious, locally sourced vegetarian and vegan lunch will be provided.
