Wednesday 22nd and Friday  24th October, 10:00-11:00, Online

Each November and December, colleagues across our network are encouraged to buy an extra gift for someone in need. With pedal-powered deliveries and a huge team effort, volunteers, donors, and local businesses unite to collect, sort, wrap, and deliver gifts to small charities supporting vulnerable people.

Last year’s impact was incredible:

  •  2,771 gifts delivered
  • 9 local organisations supported, including One Southwark, Southwark Care Leavers, Time & Talents, South London Refugee Association, Bede House, Stones End Day Centre, Riverside Parents and Carers, Manna Centre, and South London Mission’s BRITE Box project.

The session will give a clear introduction to how the Gift Back Campaign started, why it matters, and the impact it has had so far. We’ll walk through how the gifting process works, from collecting and delivering presents to the role volunteers and donors play in making it happen. You’ll also get a preview of the charities’ wish lists and a reminder of the key dates and deadlines. We’ll finish with time for questions and open discussion.
