This timber kiosk is inspired by Gibbons Rents, which spills out into the street, over the roof and up the building on a giant trellis. It was designed by Sanches Benton Architects with landscaping expertise from Macfarlane + Associates, winning a Civic Trust Award for Architecture 2022.

This project forms part of the Low Line, breathing new life into the mighty Victorian Railway Viaduct. The greening element is a first stage in a long-term vision for a Low Line Commons, a concept that won the New London Architecture overall prize in 2021. Interested?
