Fair Community Living Wall was installed in 2013 as part of the “Drain London” sustainable urban drainage programme and extended to its full 30m length in 2015. At the time it was the longest green wall in London, and the first to use this innovative tank system.

Rainwater that falls on the building roof is collected through drainpipes directly into the vertically stacked beds. Plant species include ivy and mosses.

The project was conceived by the Green Infrastructure Consultancy. The system was designed and built by Green Lease.
