Through our partnership with Southwark Council, we deliver enhanced street cleaning and jet washing, with additional support during the busy summer months and into the evenings. We also run volunteer clean-up days with our members to help maintain the high standards expected of a major business and tourist destination.
However, it is important that our business community is aware that littering, including dropping cigarette butts, can now result in an on-the-spot Fixed Penalty Notice (FPN) of up to £500.
Enforcement patrols are currently being carried out by APCOA in partnership with Southwark Council. Officers have been active around the station and across the wider area, and fines are being issued.
Please note that this enforcement is independent of Team London Bridge, and we are unable to assist with any penalties.
Let’s work together to keep London Bridge clean. Please remind colleagues, customers and visitors to use bins, even for small items like cigarette butts, which can harm planting and public spaces. The fewer fines issued, the better for everyone.
