Thursday 11th December, 17:30-18:30, London Bridge Hive, 8 Holyrood Street, SE1 2EL
Emily Hickson, London Bridge Ward Councillor and Southwark Council’s Deputy Cabinet Member for Green Finance, will have just returned from COP in the Amazon (with her day-job) to report back to us about the mood, the direction of travel, and the initiatives that we in London Bridge need to know about.
Tanja Dalle Muenchmeyer, Net Zero Manager at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Trust, will tell us about their renewed commitment to net zero and example projects, with the ink barely dry on their Green Plan.
Shannon Berry, Head of Sustainability at Principle Clean, will tell us how sustainability is key for future proofing the buildings where they work, which happens to include The Shard and London Bridge City!
And in London Bridge, nature is always at the forefront, so James Blower of local B-corp Macfarlane + Associates will tell us about their award winning landscaping work.
We will also be awarding a prize to the attendee that can guess the amount of waste produced across London Bridge in a year.
