Team London Bridge has offered a subsidised waste and recycling service to our BID members for over a decade as a way of reducing operating costs, encouraging high recycling rates and consolidating collections.
We relaunched the scheme in 2019 with a new contractor, Paper Round.
From 1st April 2019, any of our member businesses (whether office occupier, retailer or food & drink outlet) that choose Paper Round as their waste and recycling provider will be eligible for special rates as well as additional subsidies on all recycling streams – providing a significant cost saving.
What Paper Round can help with:
Procurement advice – where to purchase sustainable, recycled office supplies, plates, coffee cups, sustainable cleaning products.
Renewable energy – switching to a sustainable energy supplier, energy generated from food waste.
Waste audits – free of charge for a light-touch one or for a fee for an in depth, week long analysis of the waste a business produces.
Free IT and WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) collection. For every 15 working PCs or laptops collected, Paper Round donate the value of one tutoring session to the Children’s Literacy Charity.
