London Bridge blossomed once again at the 2018 RHS London in Bloom competition, emerging as winners of the Gold medal and the Business Improvement District (BID) category, with our highest score to date.
Each year, London in Bloom celebrates horticultural achievement in London’s public green spaces. Team London Bridge enters the competition to be judged on the quality of the BID area's gardens, parks, allotments, green walls, rain gardens, street planters, hanging baskets and wildflower meadows.
Some of these elements are managed by the BID, and others by partners such as Potters Fields Park Management Trust and London Bridge City: the result is a district leading the way in urban greening, sustainability and biodiversity. Team London Bridge are incredibly grateful for the work of all involved.
Team London Bridge would like to thank: St Mungo’s Putting Down Roots, CJS Plants, Potters Fields Park Management Trust, Cityscapes, Southwark Council, London Bridge City, Leathermarket JMB, Snowsfields Primary School, Grainger, Belmond and Fair Community Housing, for all their support and involvement throughout the year.
