Looking for a cleaner, greener
way for your staff to get around? With a Santander Cycles Business Account you
can simply hire a bike, ride it to a business meeting, on your commute or
wherever you fancy, then return it to any docking station. 24 hours a day, 365
days a year. Within the Team London Bridge zone there are 6 stations with over
150 docking points and over 11,000 bikes at over 750 docking stations across London.
Team London Bridge recently
signed up for a Santander Cycle Business Account and Sofia Alexandrache,
Responsible Business and Events Manager shares her experience:
‘Six years ago I was involved
in an accident while cycling on my way to work and that's when I gave up cycling
completely. Since then I’ve been missing cycling in London but didn’t feel I
had enough confidence to go back on the road, and also wasn’t willing to invest
again in a new bike and additional gear.
When we received the Santander
Cycle key at the office my interest in cycling was reignited, despite the
initial nervousness. Easy to understand why – there’s a docking station just
round the corner and most of my meetings take place within the SE1 area. Having
a helmet in the office also meant I didn’t have to worry about purchasing one.
Perhaps my greatest
‘discovery’ was one evening when after a meeting I decided to cycle straight
home, despite feeling concerned of going through the Elephant and Castle
roundabout. Little did I know – the Cycle Superway easily takes you through
less busy roads which meant I avoided the roundabout altogether!’
There are three account types to
choose from, Pooled, Individual or Business Codes. These offer a variety of
