London Bridge Community Christmas has proved to be our most successful yet,
bringing over 20 businesses and their employees together to help local charities. The campaign began in November, with businesses signing
up for volunteering slots at the community wrapping day, donating gifts and organising
their own volunteer wrapping sessions. As a result of everyone’s efforts 1703
gifts were donated – our biggest collection to date.
The community volunteering day at WPF
Therapy took place on the 7th December. 70 local employees and residents donned their best pair of antlers and
got together to help make the presents look the part before sorting and sending
away to local charities. The tenants of The Shard also organised their wrapping
bay in the common area over 2 days, collecting a staggering 520 gifts (measuring
half the height of The Shard itself). Over at More London, Norton Rose Fulbright
held a competition to see which floor could collect the most gifts; the results
were fantastic, with 400 gifts donated and wrapped.
