User Panel Surveys

Although all of the projects and services Team London Bridge (TLB) deliver have been identified by member businesses as things they want to see happen locally, it is difficult to monitor the effectiveness and popularity of some of these initiatives until the BID ballot is next upon us in 2016.

To make sure we are always on track with what the business community want, we have establised a User Panel to monitor opinions on a bi-annual basis.

The first User Panel survey took place 9-19 December 2011 and looked to gain feedback across the spectrum of TLB's services.

A few of the headlines that gave us food for thought were:

Your environment

49% of respondents had seen rough sleepers in the area
21% had seen anti-social drinking
7% would avoid the railway tunnels at all costs as they felt unsafe there
95% found local streets were kept in a good/excellent condition
26% found dust and noise from construction an issue
89% thought London Bridge streets had less litter than similar streets in London

88% used or had heard of the DealCard (84% of card holders used theirs for food and drink)
72% had not heard of events and leisure website discoverlondonbridge.com
72% would like to see more clothing and fashion retailers move in to the area

Responsible business

57% were aware that their employer had a Corporate Responsibiliy policy
76% said they'd volunteer for a local project if the right one came along

73% stated that Team London Bridge made a positive difference to the area
37% thought London Bridge was an area in its own right, 22% considered it to be part of the City of London

Thank you to over 1200 local stakeholders who have taken part in the surveys to date. If you would like to  participate in the future please email marketing@teamlondonbridge.co.uk.

The results of these surveys will be used to monitor the effectiveness of our projects over a five year period and allow us to allocate resources to areas where deficiencies are highlighted.

Each bi-annual survey will be available to view online in full. All answers are anonymous and have been collated by an independent specialist.
