A team from Bede’s learning disabilities centre will be supported to create a parklet for local residents living in a building site. We will create a sturdy seating area with planters and benches repurposed from fallen trees which can be used by the general community throughout the year.

Edible Rotherhithe is a community food growing, gardening and arts charity based in Southwark, London. We are a local project that works between schools, educational facilities and community centres, to offer food growing, gardening and arts & crafts workshops for children and parents.
Arts 4 Dementia
Southwark Community-Wide Creativity Programme
We are partnering with local arts and community organisations across Southwark to deliver inspiring arts activities for people affected by dementia and their carers. Our workshops will provide activities across a variety of artforms including dance, drama, music, and visual arts. Participants can join us in May for the start of a year-long programme in Elephant Park – a mix of visual arts workshops sure to challenge, inspire and connect the community, through the joy of the arts!

Young Gardeners
Growing the Paper Garden through gardening, carpentry, design, and making workshops with children ages 5-11 years old from our neighbouring partner primary schools - Alfred Salter and Redriff Primary School. The schools' pastoral care and special educational needs' team select children based on their access to greenspace at home, the challenges they are facing, and their overall need to improve their wellbeing.

Friday Friends is a weekly lunch and social group. The group is free to attend and group members are offered a light lunch and the opportunity to socialise with their peers. Board games and tea and coffee facilities are also available.

A project to unite the community of Southwark and those on the wards of the Maudsley through song while address and promoting mental health issues and associated stigma.

Power2Rediscover
Young people who are struggling with their mental wellbeing get tailored, 1:1 support from a Power2 facilitator for 10 weeks. They are helped to address their needs and set goals that support them to re-engage in education. This sets the foundations for better wellbeing now and in the future.
South London Renegades
South London Renegades Youth programme
We will start a team for younger players under 16 years of age. The younger age group will train before the older age group on Saturday mornings at Burgess Park. The players will use full kit and be taught the basics of the game.

This project will provide volunteering as a pathway into employment. We will provide essential skills as a means of preventing people from experiencing homelessness, helping achieve our mission of supporting people who are homeless or vulnerable to find decent homes, build supportive relationships and lead fulfilling lives.
