Our changing area
Once a landscape of railway viaducts and warehouses, London Bridge today is one of the capital's most exciting centres for business, tourism and leisure.
The area is still changing rapidly and will continue doing so for the next decade with a number of world-class construction projects already underway and others still in the pipeline.
These developments include:
The Shard London Bridge
London Bridge Place
7 More London Riverside
Potters Fields Coach Park
London Bridge Station and Thameslink
The Quill
What is the Construction Support Group?
All of this major development work will undoubtedly have an impact on the London Bridge business district. To help manage this impact, the London Bridge Construction Support Group has been established as a forum for major local property and infrastructure development agencies, to help them communicate effectively and work with the local business community. The Group is Chaired by the Team London Bridge's James Dinwiddie and held its first meeting in March 2008. Future meetings are planned on a quarterly basis.
Providing a forum for taking forward a strategic approach to the management and maintenance of the public realm as it is affected by development works.
