Lend as little as £10 to someone in the developing world and change their lives

You can change someone's life in your lunch hour. No really!

Deki is a direct and sustainable way to fight global poverty through microloans. Rather than simply donating money to charity, your loan can be tracked and you can see how it is being used as it is paid back to you. Your small loan - as little as £10 at any one time - could change the life of a specific person in the developing world.

As well as enabling you to easily track what is happening with your money, Deki creates an online community which helps build lasting connections between individuals from across the globe.

So spend a few minutes in your lunch hour to sign up and play an active role in improving someone's life for good.

How Deki Works

  1. You choose your micro loan recipient from a choice of borrowers whose pictures and profiles can be found above.
  2. Deki forwards this loan in the local currency, interest free to a field partner.
  3. The borrower repays the loan to the field partner over a specified term, usually 6 to 12 months.
  4. You receive updates on a regular basis regarding the repayment of the loan by the borrower.
